Sometime SharePoint does not present you with the multiple uploads option. This is due to a problem with the installation on Office on the client machine.
To fix the problem one of the following steps must be completed as an administrator:
- Repair or reinstall Office 2003 the individual Office 2003 program that is experiencing this issue.
- Repair or reinstall Office 2003.
- Register the Owssupp.dll file. To register the Owssupp.dll file, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
- At the command prompt, switch to the folder that contains the Owssupp.dll file. By default, the Owssupp.dll file is located in the following folder: Drive:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11
- Type the following command line, and then press ENTER: regsvr32 -u owssupp.dll
- Click OK when you receive the message that states that the operation was successful.
- Type the following command line, and then press ENTER: regsvr32 owssupp.dll
- Click OK when you receive the message that states that the operation was successful.
