      <title>Scheduled Maintenance - 2 April 2010</title>

The expected outage will be less than 15 minutes although it is hoped that scheduling this during the early hours of a bank holiday will mean that minimal impact will be felt.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>A major power failure affected the data centre at 1407 this afternoon.&amp;nbsp; Power was restored to all servers by 1515.&amp;nbsp; This was caused by a faulty power board and now been replaced.&lt;br&gt;</description>

Once the tests have been completed we will force all backups to complete.&amp;nbsp; You may receive warnings for missed backups during this time if the servers are unavailable when your backups normally run.&lt;br&gt;

Incoming calls have been restored for 0870 863 7200 and 0870 863 7222, however, the conference call number 0870 863 7223 is currently routing to the main Lushsoft IVR.&amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;

      <description>We are currently investigating a rogue web application that is cauing 100% processor utilisation on server UK3 - former 1uhosting web server.&amp;nbsp; It is causing random hanging of between 30 secs and 5 minutes.&lt;br&gt;

We are working to determine which website is causing this and resolve it as quickly as possible.&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <summary>Email was very slow through the ex-1uhosting.net mail server - mail.server365.net.  This was due to a denial of service attack against this server and a major influx of SPAM.</summary>

      <description>Email was very slow through the ex-1uhosting.net mail server - mail.server365.net.&amp;nbsp; This was due to a denial of service attack against this server and a major influx of SPAM.&amp;nbsp; We are currently reducing the queues and mail should start to be processed normally.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
The queues have now been cleared and normal operations have been resumed.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
An upgrade the the anti-spam filters is being performed this evening in an effort to stop this happening again.&lt;br&gt;</description>

      <title>lxlabs HyperVM Vulnerabilities and update</title>
      <summary>HyperVM has quite publicly been found to have 24 vulnerabilities which allow the deletion of VPS.  The status of lxlabs is unknown since the death of their owner.  We are investigating the situation and ensuring the security of the customer VPS.</summary>

      <description>As of Monday 8th June 2009, the status of lxlabs is unknown due to the suicide of the owner.&amp;nbsp; We use lxlabs HyperVM and Lxadmin for our linux estate and as such the current known status of the patches and of the company leaves us in a tricky situation.&lt;BR&gt;
&lt;BR&gt;
We are monitoring closely the health of the servers and ensuring that the vulnerability is not exploited.&amp;nbsp; We are also not aware of what will happen to lxlabs and as such we may need to move to a new platform.&amp;nbsp; &lt;BR&gt;
&lt;BR&gt;
So far, no users systems have been exploited and we hope the maintain the current level of production and security for the servers.&lt;BR&gt;
&lt;BR&gt;
We will keep customers updated on the situation and if we need to move away from lxlabs products.&lt;BR&gt;
